Any licensed auction company is invited to the 60 SECOND easy fill out the form to apply for the Premium TRIPLE SEAL BADGE AUTHORIZATION. Once approved the company shall receive the premium triple certified seal for your website placement and any printed company materials (Business Card - Brochure) you might have.

Most of the auction companies that apply will be approved there is a small amount that are not. Any applicants that are not approved will receive a 100% refund of any monies paid. Upon Approval your company will be able to add the premium Triple Seal Certification to any of your company information print or online. This gives your customers a quick look to see that you have been certified, validated as a true Safe Auction Company and all consumers can safely bid on all your auctions.

Code of Conduct and Accreditation Standards

Accreditation Standards represent standards for business accreditation by Auctions Safe in North America.

These standards are based on Auctions Safe determination of the attributes of better auction business practices. They incorporate not only lawful business procedures, but also a practice of ethical advertising, selling and customer experiences. An Auction certified business to qualify with Auctions Safe and the medallions that represent these companies, it must continually meet these standards.

Auctions Safe supports many efforts to fulfill its mission of advancing marketplace trust, based on several factors, including the vetting of many auction businesses.

To be accredited by Auctions Safe, a business or organization affirms that it meets and will abide by the following standards:

1. Build Trust

Establish and maintain a positive track record in the auction marketplace.

A. Be actively selling products or services for at least six months prior to application or have previously operated a similar business with an eligible business performance track record.

B. Have Fulfilled all competency and trade licensing State, City and Federal requirements.

C. Be free from government action that demonstrates a significant failure to support ethical principles and evaluates the action and decides on adherence to this standard based on the nature of the violation and the extent of harm it caused or is alleged to have caused, whether it was caused or condoned by management, and actions taken to resolve underlying issues that led to the government action.

2. Advertise Honestly

A. Follow established legal and ethical product representation and selling practices, including, but not limited to all Legitimate Jurisdictional Codes of Legal Advertising.

B. Use the Auctions Safe trademark and seals affiliation statements under license and as outlined in all governmental policies then in effect.

3. Tell the Truth!

A. Honestly represent auction items and pick-up and delivery services, including clear and prominent disclosures of all terms. Be clear in all online and offline representations, verbal and written and include all relevant facts in all transactions.

4. Be Transparent

A. Openly identify as can the nature, location, ownership, condition, accurate description of all auction items within your auction/s and clearly and prominently disclose all facts that bear on a customer's decision to buy. Do not leave auction items to speculation, authenticity, size, age, condition and alike.

B. Have documented contact procedures and operation hours of the business. Clearly state the business' return/refund policy. Clear and concise forms and policies of payment which the customer may be entering, including automatic renewals, payments or other financial commitments. Total cost of the item/s transaction, including tax, shipping and handling (when applicable), and other related charges prior to and completion of all transactions. No hidden charges. Invoices that will summarize the transaction of all purchases.

C. Advising the winning bidder where the item/s are located and whether they are available for pick up or shipping.

D. Clearly State the pickup date/s of the won items, times to be picked-up and what are the consequences to the buyer when item/s are not picked up. Clear and concise penalties policy for banning a bidder from future auctions.

5. Honor Promises

A. All Auction houses must fulfill all contracts, commitments and representations as promised and as described.

6. Be Responsive

A. Address all communications and disputes by bidders in a quickly and in good faith manner with your own terms and conditions of your company.

B. Provide a response to each communication that an auction house be professional and addresses all significant issues raised by the bidder in a direct and non-personal manner. Honor any refunds or decisions reached as an outcome of any correspondence.

7. Safeguard Privacy

A. Protect any data collected against unauthorized disclosure and fraud, collect personal information only as needed, and respect the preferences of customers regarding the use of their information. Be able to disclose your privacy policy upon request.

B. Ensure sensitive data (credit card, bank account numbers, Social Security/Social Insurance number, salary or other personal financial or health information) that may be collected and transmitted via secure means. Businesses will comply with applicable legal requirements and industry standards for the protection and proper disposal of all sensitive data, both online and offline. Respect customer contact preferences.

8. Integrity

A. Approach all business dealings, marketplace transactions and commitments with integrity, good faith and intent to do what is reasonably expected.
